Lison de Caunes

For over 30 years, the Ateliers Lison de Caunes have been a leading reference in the art of straw marquetry.

Based in Paris, they create fully bespoke pieces — from one-of-a-kind private commissions to prestigious public space projects — in France and internationally.

Manon Bouvier/Paelis

Awarded Meilleure Ouvrière de France (Best Craftsperson of France) in 2019, Manon Bouvier expresses her creativity within the Paelis workshop, surrounded by a passionate team.

Together, they explore new horizons in straw marquetry, blending technical innovation, material combinations, and a contemporary approach.

The “Avenue Montaigne” project — for which they produced most of the furniture and sliding doors — illustrates the wide range of possible applications for rye straw: wall panels, chairs, sofas, tables, consoles, and more.
