Rye straw is a unique material — natural, elegant, and durable. Used for centuries as roofing thatch, it has also found its place in various creative fields: marquetry, caning, basketry, decorative furniture, and even artistic projects.

Today, you can easily find natural or colored rye straw suited to every use — whether you’re a craftsperson, designer, or simply a DIY enthusiast. But where can you buy it? Let us guide you!

For small projects: Buy rye straw online

For smaller projects — such as marquetry, basketry, caning, decorative objects, or small furniture — it’s easy to order your decorative straw directly online. On our artisan online store dedicated to rye straw production, it is available in 50 g bundles, ideal for detailed and refined creations. Depending on your needs, you can order up to 1 kg, which equals 20 bundles of straw.

GOOD TO KNOW: A 50 g bundle of straw contains around 50 stalks, each ranging from 10 cm to 50 cm in length. To cover a surface of 1 m², you’ll need approximately 300 g of straw.

Another advantage of buying online from our shop: you can order a sample pack including our various colors. It’s the perfect way to compare shades, observe the reflections, and choose the tone best suited to your project before placing a larger order.

PLEASE NOTE: Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability. Stock levels depend on the harvest season and current demand.

For bulk quantities: We have the solution too!

If your project requires large quantities (for example, restoring a thatched roof, creating custom furniture, or designing an ambitious interior space), we also offer special bulk packaging. These larger quantities are not available directly online, but we can organize delivery tailored to your needs. Simply contact us so we can prepare the most suitable solution together.
